The place hasn't changed much since the time I lived two miles away prior to going to University-including a very high level of traffic, much of which was surely supposed to have been eradicated when the A3095 was re-routed to avoid the town in the late 80s. Maybe an additional bypass for other routes into and out of the town is required?

Spacious room with a good outlook to the front. Although facing onto main road very little traffic noise. Room was clean. Overhead shower not to my partners liking ( hair getting wet unnecessarily ) As we were visiting friends we didn't have any breakfast at the Hotel.

Check in was very friendly, I was even offered help with my bags. The room was spotlessly clean and nicely appointed. I didn't stay for breakfast so I can't comment on that, but I definitely recommend the hotel and would stay again.

Really welcoming hotel, comfortable bed, plenty of parking and in a pretty residential area. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, thank you Chef Mark! Look out for the home baked cookies at reception.
