Loved the grounds and sitting out on the garden sofas surrounded by beautiful flowers. The access to the performance centre with the swimming lake for open water swimming and golf was fantastic. Special thanks to James on reception who was welcoming and very helpful.

Staff friendly and food very good. Felt it was a bit dear, given it's age, but I presume it was because of the location. It is ready for some updating as there's evidence that some areas are looking tired. Would definitely stay again.

The room was lovely and clean. Free continental breakfast was a surprise and had a great selection of cereals, toast, fruits and yoghurt. Loved the old building and the history. The staff were very friendly. Located close enough to Oxford but nicely positioned in a small village.

Beautiful period inn with lovely features. Room was in an annexe, modern clean and cosy with nice shower room. Staff and the chef were very welcoming, helpful and made our stay relaxing and friendly. Had a lovely evening meal cooked beautifully and a wonderful breakfast with fresh local produce. Can’t thank the staff enough for a perfect short break stay. Thanks !

Not much there, but ideal if you want to visit Oxford for half the cost of other accommodation similarly located. And much cheaper than staying in Oxford itself. Just a short easy drive from Oxford Parkway Park & Ride.

I was staying overnight on the way home and apart from walking the dog I didn't see much of Middleton Stoney. It was however very well signposted off the A34 and so easy to find (having got lost in the Cotswolds a few times, I appreciated this). I am sure there are lots of places to see around Middleton Stoney, I just didn't have the time to explore. I would visit again.
